For a manual trans I would start at 20 psi, dump slide slip the clutch at 3k rpms and see what happens. If it spins lower the psi 1 lb at time. If it bogs then up the rpms. Every street/surface will be different. You can go as low as 12 psi but what to run highest psi where you dont spin. A little spin is good. Be careful on the streets as the surface is not prepped like a track.

Do a nice four to six second burn out. That will heat the tires properly and get them to stick when you launch. You have to get the drag radials hot to get them to stick otherwise they dont stick nearly as good. You may have to dump the clutch in first then shift quickly to second to get a proper burnout. You just have to practice.

No prep on the street. Hard to give launching advice in that environment, but if you're racing an STI, launch from idle and you'll still spank him.

I'd start around 15-18, and definitely go easy on that clutch. Once the tires start to slip, it's hard to recover. Just get it off the line clean and then let er eat!
