Default Help the horn on my 2007 Moostang doesnt work

I know this is an old thread but I have an 07 V6 Coupe. This morning I noticed the only way I could get the horn to sound was by pressing on the steering wheel right ABOVE the center cap (pony logo), but nowhere else on the steering wheel and not on the center cap either. Everything else seems to be working fine (car alarm, lights, etc.). Any idea what this could be? Dealership service rep didn't have a clue. Thanks.

I guess the classic car work-arounds don't always transfer well to the newer models.

I'm sorry if I hurt your pee-pee.

I haven't been to Florida recently, but I think you were in the DFW area last week and passed me in traffic. Backatcha.
Best,
Al (Couldn't get the smiley face to post, but I tried)

Nope. Wasn't me.

Must've been my evil twin trolling DFW.

my question is on y 67 mustang std wheel the horn is not working i recently put a new steerinf wheel on car and now horn does not work-- i have noticed in several conversations that people are referring to springs mine only has a rubber gasket about half inch thick at least it was the new one not installed yet is. also the screws that hold the plate down seem to push plate down all the way maybe screw are not right length/ not sure i have made myself clear in quiestion but im now sure what i have in reference to horn
