Who bought theirs new and still own it?

Bought my 05 in Jan 07. It was one of those rare cars no one wanted, I suppose. Had never been sold but did have 1022 miles on it so I guess it was used as a demo or by management.
Got a great deal on it and still love it today as much as the day I bought it. Keeping it forever.

I bought our 2005 4.0L/auto vert on 05/05/05. It was the first new car that I bought for myself (the Mrs always got the new ride). Within a week I ditched the 16s for 17" polished Ford Bullitts and joined this forum. It all went downhill from there! Chaser taillights came first, and I went with a C&L intake and Evolution Performance tunes. After a couple of years I gave it to the wife as her DD, and worked my way through several Mustangs of my own (used and new). I've gone through a couple of alternators, battery, Shaker 500 (under warranty), and the Mrs got rear-ended pretty hard by a Jeep when the driver was texting. I would love to drop it, but the driveway incline at the curb is a deal-breaker. The Mineral Gray looks so good I don't see any reason to get rid of it.

Bought mine new spring 2005 - special order cause I knew someone at dalership. Kept it stock for two years.
Steeda cold air intake/Brenspeed SCT tune, sequential tail lights first, then chin spoiler. Dez Racing of Seekonk, MA installed 4.10 gears and Hurst short shift. A year later Roush springs, Koni shocks/struts, GTA exhaust. Rims and tires made all the difference.

Bought mine in Feb of 08 w/7 miles on her. She currently has 12K (weekend car that shares time with 3 others....LOL).
I LOVE the car & have NO plans of ever getting rid of it. She is fully customized, so I made her "mine". Best mod is the supercharger & every time I drive it, I wonder why I don't drive it more, pic is in sig.

Ordered my 06 GT Premium Package from Ford just the way i wanted it in early Sept. 2005, and picked it up in LA on Nov.5th 2005.
After 2 months I took it to the orange county Saleen factory plant assembly line and had the Series VI Supercharger kit and the full suspension put on, for only $5,850.00 including the complete install. We'll never see those prices again. It was like a new car.
Now the car is completely fit out with everything, including lots of chassis stiffening and front end weight loss, watts link, and all the rest. The car turns corners like a race car and I still love driving it every day. Fast as hell on a custom tune @ 10 psi. almost 50,000 miles, still looks new.
Best high performance bargain on the planet considering how cheap the prices were in 06' and 07' for aftermarket compared to now. Still in Love with it, Erik
