Who bought theirs new and still own it?

Me, I still have my 2005 GT Redfire Metallic Premium. Build completion date was June 2005 and I took delivery on July 10, 2005 two days before my birthday.
As the years passed, I've done a few upgrades:

Added GT300 side stripes
Replaced stock rims for Silver Bullitt wheels
Replaced stock muffers for Ford Racing Axle-back GTAs
Replaced stock intake for a K&N CAI
Added Diablo Sport Predator tuner

8 years later, it just rolled into 69,000+ miles on the odo and it's still running strong like the first day I got it. I run nothing, but non-ethanol gasoline and it averages around 24 MPG combined city/hwy. It still had the OEM tires which I just replaced (8/24/2013). Hard to believe they lasted that long.

I've taken it on several road trips, did some runs at the 1/4 track once, and it even won 2 car show awards.
I never get tired driving my Stang and have enjoyed it since the first day I got it. It always reminds me of my Grandpa's 1965 fastback 2+2 and I look forward to more great drives and memories.

have you had any problems at all?
oil leaks anywhere?

I bought a 2007 Roush 427R in February 2008 with "Clearance Sale" pricing and rebates.
It has 12,000 miles on it due to weekend HPDE track days and club cruises.

My mods are as follows:
Brake cooling ducts, stainless steel lines.
CAI and tune
LCA, front chassis brace, watts link, coil-over kit.
Dedicated track wheels/tires.
Cooper RS3 daily driving tires

Bought mine new in 2008, pretty much left it stock for 2 years and then the modding began.
Really only had the water leak and a bad transmission, I think thosae were the only warranty issues and the dealer just dealt with it. Aboutt he only thing left stock in the drivetrain is the rear-end.

This could be an interesting thread; I've seen similar ones on other forums with some good stories.

Bought my Saleen vert in Nov '05. When I found out it is a 1 of 1 I didn't want to do anything crazy to it. I've done some appearance mods and engine dress up stuff but have left it pretty close to the way I drove it off the lot.

Absolutely love the car and it has been 57,000 miles of virtually trouble free driving. Just some minor things, a battery, altenator and about to put the third set of tires on real soon but it still has the original brakes. Not sure how they have not worn out yet?

Plan on keeping it until it falls apart!

Bought my 2006 in June 07' with 26K on the odometer. Gone through about 2-3 sets of tires, an alternator, water pump, lower thermostat housing (Common V6 issue) anbout 2-3 batteries. Now about to hit 150K on the odometer and she still runs as good if not, better than when I first brought her home. I too plan on running her until she can no longer run no mores :D

I bought mine brand new while sitting in Iraq in 2007. If you think waiting to come home is hard enough, try waiting, knowing you will have a brand new mustang sitting there waiting for you. I put 42,000 miles on her, and modded her well. So far, knock on wood. I have not had one problem with her, other than TSB's (not really problems though), I do all the maintanace on it, which gives me piece of mind and seems to be working. I plan on keeping the car until my son is old enough and RESPONSABLE enough to have her, lol.

I did have two problems when I picked it up in England, it was supposed to have black leather and a hood scoop, but when I saw it had no hood scoop and saddle leather interior instead, I loved it so I took it anyways.

Good thread op for sure.

Bought my GT new in June '07, replaced the stock axlebacks with the FRPP/Borla Stingers that July, added the qtr window lovers and side scoops that August, added the CAI & tune that September, replaced the stock fanblades (blechhh) and tires with GT500 takeoffs and GY Eagles in February '08, added rear window louvers in April '08. She's not and never was my DD but in the first 2 years I put about 30,000 miles on her and only about 9,000 miles in the past 4 years since I got married.

I bought my wife (g/f at the time) an '06 Pony in April '09 and, yes, she's still "paying it off"...:icon_naughty:

Bought mine off the lot with 34 miles on it in March of 08. Has a build date of 10/07 if I recall correctly.. I've got my mod list set, My first mod was a C&L racer CAI and set of tunes. I currently have some Steeda sport springs, Koni yellow shocks/struts, steeda upper strut mount, and bumpsteer kit sitting in the garage, waiting to be installed. I just want to purchase some lower control arms and a panhard bar before I get it all installed. Going with a watts link eventually.

As if one weren't enough...
As if spending $$$ on mods wasn't enough...
As if having one build near complete, should give me time to enjoy the car...

I have sooo many ideas running around my head, and now i have a new blank template to play with, as well as my first Vert!

Truly blessed to have the best of both worlds!

This is Bandit: Got him in Dec of 2012, very heavily modified and just a blast to drive! Bandit is almost complete, the idea is to make a Retro-Mod Mach 1 out of him.

This is Bianca: Just got her Monday...can't wait to get started on her!
She will be a tribute to Carroll Shelby as a GT350 clone.

This is where Bianca will get to...
