Default Alum D/S and Tri-ax shifter

Doing a little research, I've seen conflicting reports that the 4" d/s will interfere with the tri-ax shifter on the TR3650 in an 08 GT.

Does anyone have any practical knowledge? Guys from Steeda, do you know if it clears it? I asked the helpdesk at Steeda but the only answer I got is that Steeda sells the 4-3.5" necked down d/s from their store, not whether or not the 4" will work w/o issues.

Thanks!

I think you have to grind down a bolt head in the DS tunnel as well or it will rub.

Why not get one of these DSS 3.5 inch shaft? Installs really easy and no BS pinion angle nightmare. Lethal Perf puts them on sale now and then.....free shipping too.

I have a Tri-Ax and a Coast Driveline 4" DS, no problems ever. Not sure if there were changes made in '08 that would cause a problem though.
