Do you have a manual or auto trans? If you have an auto you MUST get a CAI and tune. It will transform your car into an entirely new ride. A CAI and tune is a great mod to start off with.

Just about everything you do to gain power is going to require a tune. That's the way it is nowadays.

CAI w no tune is a waste.
Exhaust will gain you nothing.

If you don't want to touch the computer, you might as well forget about performance mods.
That's the truth.
Sweet, plain, and simple as you can say its.

As for gas mileage. The simplest and first mod you can do and should do is the CAI and tune.
These mods in themselves actually help gas mileage.
93oct cost more per gallon than 91...but the CAI and a 93 tune does NOT make the miles per gallon drop.
The drop in MPH is with the lead foot you get enjoying the car.

There's really no reason to run a 93 tune with those simple mods. It will gain you some...but not a lot over the 91 oct tune. The real reason to get a 93 tune would be when you have a lot of mods, and wanna squeeze every bit if HP you can get.

Heck we have a GT500 with an upgraded supercharger pulley, CAI, plugs, tune, and this week upgraded heat exchanger, thermostat, and tanks are going in....and we still run a 91 tune. Given we do it because our tiny town has no 93...but the 91 still is fine even with what we have.

Again if you're unwilling to touch the computer performance gains are out of the equation for you.

My advice is either stick to show mods (looks mods),
Or find a friendly dealership that doesn't mind you doing a small amount of mods that require a tune..mod away, and don't worry about it.
That or don't worry about the warranty at all.

As to your concern about a tune not working right, that happens sometimes. Fortunately that's usually not hard to fix and is as simple as the shop emailing you a corrected tune.
Tunes for CAI only are easy to correct if there are any probably with them 99.9999% of the time.

Highly recommend getting the airraid CAI & tune combo. I have it myself, when I installed both on my stock 06 gt at the time, I couldn't believe the power gains. Without a tune, or even less performing intake, you will see not much of a difference.

As for exhaust, you can do a catback borla setup or magnaflow or something and I think it will actually come with an Xpipe. However i recently installed BBK longtube headers and as I was removing the stock Hpipe from it's connection to the stock exhaust manifold, it was so rusted and hard on get off that the bolt wound up snapping in half but I didn't care because it was all coming out anyways... so be warned... Maybe it was just me though.

Don't mess with throttle bodies unless your heavily building the motor. Not Nessecary. Get a spacer if you really want.

You won't be dissapointed!
Once you upload the tune, it will feel like a totally different car.

Spacers are hype. The theory is good but in reality they add absolutely nothing plus some will cause your intake to "whistle". TB spacers are an embarrassment. Do NOT tell anyone if you have one.
