Cool, I have not driven it much. Only put about 50 miles on it, been busy doing other work on the car. All new pulleys, new tensioned, new water pump, new alternator, new Serpentine belt, new ATI dampener and new Pypes mufflers. I have one more thing to do and I'm done, custom motor mount bracket. The OEM bracket is hitting the header on the driver side and its causing a vibration. Took weeks to figure that out and allot of un-needed work. Live and learn..

So, I didn't want to start a new thread so I'm resurrecting an old one. I'm considering this transmission, but I'm wondering if I can use the aluminum drive shaft I have now, or will I need a new one? If I need a new one, how long, and where should I get it.

You can use the driveshaft to have but you're going to have to have it cut down and rebalanced because the tremec T 56 is longer than the stocks one you have in there now presuming you have a 3650

Oh and you'll need to have universal joints put on the transmission end of the driveshaft because its different than 3650. You also need a tail shaft yoke.
