My tremec Magnum XL from American Powertrain

Also have this coming which should be nice. I made an adapter to mate this up to the Tremec shifter. I'm going to powder coat the HURST lettering on it in gloss black.

Lucky bastage! I hope to get a Magnum XL in the future. I'll get one before I get a forged block so it can support the extra power when I up the boost. By the way, did you get the close ratio or wide ratio version? What is your rear axle ratio? I have 3.55 gears and I'm not sure which ratio to get. Thanks!

My second gear synchros were done so, was not going to sink money into a inferior tranny. I had plans to get my bottom end forged, cams, some head work then get the boost up to about 20 lbs.. But that may need to wait, still going to try and get this done in the spring.

That's a good choice. Unless your going with taller tires (28 inch slicks) then the 4:10 are not necessary. I had 3:55's but I knew I was using taller tires at the track and at some point after I go forged I'm moving to a 29 inch slick.

Im getting mine installed next tuesday at jpc, also cant wait , pretty much have all my current parts sold! , I'm getting a spec 3+ clutch, a steel flywheel, and motive 3:90 gears installed as well. I already have the jpc clutch line installed. Not only that i went with a 2013/2014 gt-500 slave cylinder which is more rugged then the stock throwout bearing. It requires spacers but its perfectly suited for this clutch!
