Default Fuel Reading in Info Center

So today me and my stepdad replaced all 6 of my stepper motors in my car. 2 were out and I thought might as well. So we plugged everything back up and the oil pressure gauge stills reads 0. So we think the actual sensor might be out?

Also, when we plugged everything back up, and I turned my key, the little info center read "0 miles to E" which is ridiculous because I had about 55 miles before we replaced the stepper motors. So I went to a gas station and filled up. It now reads "240 miles to E". It usually reads 290-330. Solo how do I get that thing to read right? Just drive till I'm on fumes then fill up?

Don't worry about it. It's currently calculating based on it's previous data which is probably skewed due to the changes. On your next fill-up, be sure to reset the on-board. BTW, the "xxx miles to empty" is one of the more worthless methods of keeping an eye on your average fuel mileage. Typically, the 05's-10's are off by about 1-2 MPG high. At each fill-up, log your info and hand calculate and reset the on-board. I keep my on-board on my '07 showing the avg fuel mileage and know that it reads 1.5-2 MPG high. My wife's '06 is almost dead-on.
