NEED HELP replacing the base sound system to shaker 1000 system
I have a 2005 mustang that has the base sound system. Im looking at buying a whole shaker1000 system ( the extra door speakers and the base and amps). How do i install all of this to work in my mustang? Is it easy to wire it? is the wire there for the base in the trunk already? I want to do it myself but i have never done anything with car sound systems before. Please help me.

I have a shaker deck I'll sell ya cheap if your interested. Perfect condition. I swapped it for a deck with nav. Just PM me if interested.
I'm not a stereo guru so I can't help you on the actual install questions

You wire it just like any ordinary stereo install. If you don't know how to do it, I would pay a professional or just have a friend who's done it before show you. I'm going to be honest with you though, if you're looking for some more bumpage I think you could find much better, not to mention cheaper options than just the Shaker. Just one decent ten-fifteen inch, a new set of door speakers, a good head unit, and maybe even a couple tweeters goes a long way. Even just swapping the head unit for one with a built in amp on my stock Shaker 500 setup made it night and day.

The system im looking at getting the is out of a 2009 mustang. it comes with all 6 speakers the sub and the amps. all of that for around $400. Which i think is a pretty good deal. I have not looked into any after market stereo systems just because i would like to have it look like the mustang came with this in it. I do have someone i talked to that can help me install it when i get it.
