Default Thinking about Katzkin Seats

Good evening evening everyone ! I was thinking about getting Katzkin seats after getting a decent income tax Return. I went to a Katzkin dealer in my city and was quoted $1300 for the seats and $600 install. I think thats abit rageous after i looked at the canadian katzkin seats website. Anyone ever Purchase the $700 package vs the $1000 package or the $1200 with some pictures? Is the install price i was quoted terrible or a fair price seems high to me ! thanks for the help

I bought some Stage 3 seat covers several years ago. These came with new foam for the front seats and were Blue/Black. I am very satisfied with the appearance and quality of the covers. I put them on myself and saved the installation fee. If you have stock leather seats in your car in good condition, I am sure someone with cloth seats would buy yours. Check on Ebay in Roush Overstock for seat covers. Katzkins look great, but if you want to save some bucks, check Ebay.

I bought new take offs from ebay for $295 a couple of years ago. They were from a 2011. I installed them myself. Its really not that difficult. There is a video on youtube which shows how easy it is. I think it may be a katskin video. Just do a search. I would never pay money to get them installed. Hog ring pliars are cheap and so are the hog rings. Do it yourself dude.

I did Katzkins in my car. Tuscany midnight with Pacific blue inserts, with contrasting blue stitching. Got mine from www.shopsar.com. They sell install kits too.
Like 808 said, it really isn't that hard to do. I took out the seats and did it in my living room.

P.M. Blacksmoke also. He put them in his '06 GT. Has a million and one pictures and all sorts of details about cost and quality.
