2005 Mustang Convertible

Hello,
Can any offer any advise on how to adjust or fix a 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible Top that will not finish the closing cycle. It stops about 8" from the top of the windshield.

1. I had the Top Replaced and the frame is in good shape., they did not work on hydraulics
2. I have replaced the hydraulic cylinder on both sides & had the computer program checked
3. I have emptied and filled the hydraulic pump.
4. Nothing looks bent and nothing looks worn.
5. I unplugged the limit switch and tried to close.
6. I have unhooked the hydraulic cylinder from the post and it still will not close.

This has to be something simple.

Can anyone offer any other ideas?

My 2006 used to stop short, not 8" but it didn't always close without me pulling it down a little. Has your car always stopped that short of closing before the top was replaced?
