Default should i use premium or regular gas for my 06 gt?

i usually get 89 but mostly been getting 87 for the last month. what do u guys use? been looking through the manual and dont see anything that says "premium recommended" but a lot of people tell me that i should use premium.

Using premium will not hurt anything, but in less you are tuned for it you won't get any real performance improvement. I'd say either tune, or use 87 and enjoy your ride.

215 posts and you still don't know that running an octane higher than what the tune calls for in the 4.6L (except for those with the Bullitt tune; the Bullitt models AND the '10's) gains you zip? The stock 4.6L OE tune is setup for 87 octane.

What Nuke said. I run 87 all day (albeit on my Bama tune 87), but before tuning, never put premium in.

Just run regular unless you are tuned to use something higher.
