Default Painted my console...

Got my console painted to match the exterior of my car and am fishing for compliments... um, I mean opinions.

What do you think?

I like it, but it does seem to be out of place in the sea of black. I just don't know if I would have done the armrest. Seems to me the paint would wear off or get scratched up.

I have the aluminum cupholder trim on the way and am getting aluminum inserts for the door panels (THESE) so it should lighten it up a bit. The armrest cover is plastic and I ordered it from AM. Seems pretty durable, but the entire family has instructions not to put their arms on it. If I had left it black, it truly would be a sea of black.

Aluminum door panels will brighten it up.

Now get a black leather shift boot with blue stitching to match and you're good to go!

I like it, it does break up the "sea of black" but like Dragul said I might/probably would have left the arm rest black just so I wouldnt have to worry about scratching it. If you dont mind what did it end up costing you?

Whoa kdryan...I just noticed your front mustang emblem is painted to match your stripes...cool. My other ride is an AUE/Incom RZ-1 A-Wing.
