was my thought too.

On every single car of mine from the:

1966 Impala
1988 Camaro RS
1987 Trans Am
1988 Trans Am
1998 Grand Prix GTP Daytona 500 Pace Car
2005 GTO
2006 Mustang
2004 New Beetle 'vert

to the current 2013 Mustang GT vert, the first mods have been: cold air intake, exhaust and a tune.

That being said. get a cold air intake, and a tune. Mufflers will give no horsepower gain, but generally are acceptable as a first mod to customize your car.

Yup yup did my exhaust first, I wanted that muscle car sound!
