Default Traded my 06GT

Finally shook hands with the Ford dealership yesterday and getting my new car tomorrow. Love my 06GT, I still feel it's a beast even though it can't compete with the newer GT's, but felt now was the time to trade it in while it's still low miles and worth something.

Got a 2014 Focus SE w/ auto. Main reason because of the upcoming winter and I got a new job recently which is important for me to show up on time regardless of weather. The better mpg and bigger back seat is a bonus. Also, it'll be completely paid off when I roll off the lot, so I can't pass that up on a 2014..

The good news is I'll be saving for a replacement Mustang immediately Some ideas below

Love the white 07-09 GT/CS... I have been keeping an eye out for one in good condition with a stick, would love to upgrade for the right price!

A GT is still a GT...I don't see the value of the 3-valves dropping anytime soon, it's still a great car and a hell of a lot better than the '99-04, but good deals can be had!

Yeah, I got my car as close to stock again before I traded it, and to be honest it still felt great to me with only Pypes muffler deletes. Couldn't imagine the smile a 444hp Boss would put on my face.

Drove the focus home, about 80 miles, and averaged 47mpg when I pulled into my destination. Pics later

I LOVE my 07 GTCS, it's my favorite vehicle I've owned so far. I've heavily modified the thing, but I save every original piece in case the car would be worth something down the road. Honestly though, I wish I would have held out for a Roush Blackjack or Trak Pak. Roush Mustangs have always been my thing, and I feel weird having Roush guts in a Shelby body kit and I feel like people who know their Mustangs see me going down the road and think my car is "fake" (till they try and race me ;D). Honestly though, if you're wanting to step up from the power of a stock 05-09 GT, which in my opinion isn't a lot, go with the new 5.0. No replacement for displacement unless you have to money to drop in some good ol forced induction.
