Default Inner Tail Light and License Plate Light Problem

Hi all,
This is my first post and I was hoping someone would help me out with an issue I'm having. I recently switched out my tail light bulbs to LED bulbs along with an LED bulb for my license plate light. I was testing them out when all of a sudden the inner taillights and the license plate light went out at the exact same time. I checked the bulbs and they are still working because the inner taillight bulbs all light up when I hit the brakes and the license plate bulb was tested in another socket. I did some research online and I think it may be some wiring from the sjb (smart junction box) since there is a cluster of wires that connect to those three lights in particular. I've included a before and after picture link so you can see the difference. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I'd like to try and fix this problem without having to go to the dealership. Thank you!!!

Judging by that, I would assume you are correct in that there is a wiring fault somewhere. Doesn't seem like it could be a fuse or a relay as it would control all the tail lights (though I could be wrong). And if you tried the bulbs elsewhere, that's obviously not the issue.

I would look into the wiring.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

This morning when I went to go start the car it wouldn't start up at all. It made a clicking noise like the battery was dead. The radio and interior map lights still work though. I didnt have a chance to jump start it since I had to go to work so I took my wife's car. Anyone have any idea what's going on? I've read about the "battery drain" issue with the SJB and I'm not sure if this sounds like the same issues others have had.

I think that an LED can visually appear to be "off," but might still be drawing current if there is a problem with the wiring to the LED.

Any updates?
I do know the two inner lights and license plate light will NOT light up, unless you have the light **** turned the whole way to the ON position.
Sounds like your battery is dead.
Do you turn your radio off? I've read that some members experiencing battery draining issues due to their Shaker 1000 audio system.
