Soft Chirp With Door Lock

Soft Chirp With Door Lock
I couldn't always hear the doors lock when I pushed the key fob. Yes, I am hard of hearing. I know if you push it twice the horn will sound. I wanted to hear the doors lock without the horn.
I removed the inner door panel, disconnected the wiring harness to the door lock solenoid. I bought a small piezo buzzer at Radio Shack. I soldered the black wire on the buzzer to the black wire on the door lock harness. Then the red wire on the buzzer to the grey with white tracer wire. Secured the buzzer to the wiring harness. Put it all back together.
Now I have a soft chirp when I lock the doors. I can tell the doors locked without having to look at the lights or hit the button a second time.
Sorry no pics.
