Gears I know this question has been beat into the ground but.......

I have the 3.55's, and was thinking of a gear swap to 4.10's but I do 65/70% highway driving. It's not worth my occasional (talking once a year) trip to the track to make the swap. 3.55 to 3.73's also makes no sense financially.
My advice: spend money elsewhere if you have 3.55's and do a considerable amount of highway driving.

I have 4.10's on my manual trans and I'm going to switch to 3.73. Although I love the 4.10's torque, they are just unbearable at highway speeds. If I had a 6 speed I'd definitely keep them.

Any opinions on 3.90 compared to the 4.10s I wanna get off the line and not be to high of rpm on the highway plus I don't want my gears to short.... Idk haha I've been thinking about gears for weeks lol

I've done 3 sets of FR 4.10's. One 06 NA, a 97 v6, and Roush M90 '10, all manual. I was happy with the 06 and the 10, but that little v6 would top out at maybe 80 or 90. But it felt like it could pull out a tree trunk!!
Im with outceltj, don't fear the gear. I vote the 4.10's. The RPMs on the v8's were slightly higher but I quickly became accustomed to it and the claims of "1st is unusable", well, I never had that problem. Sure, it knocks you back in the seat, but it wasn't unusable at all.
