New wheels-opinions needed
So eventually to replace these bulky pp wheels, I'll be upgrading and getting rid of the 4x4 look. After i lower the car, i was considering some xxr 535's. I found a mustang that looked great in them, only problem is the largest size xxr makes in this model is 18x10.25. I'd prefer 19's; i found a pair fitted on an 05-09 s197, only I'd get them in black.
I'll be sitting about 1.8 inches lower with the new springs/struts.
What are your opinions on these wheels in black on my car?
I think it sits perfectly, i just am having trouble debating on 18 inch wheels.
Fitted on a car i found online:

Black is better than that but you could do better, IMO. All black wheels are boring. Good choice getting rid of those wheels, I personally think they look horrible.
You're going lower than you are now? You seem pretty low.

I want wheels with stance under at least $170 a piece. I'd love to go with some forgestars, or stance, or velgens, but $350 a wheel is way out of my budget for now.
Still got that 4x4 look:

My thought is how black wheels disappear on a white car. I was also considering going with chromium black instead of matte black:

Lowering would look good and necessary, IMO.

I'm sorry - my mistake, I thought you owned the silver car for some reason. Anyway, thank god you own the white car. Those rims are nice as is, but if you're looking to upgrade I agree that black wheels not only disappear but they are boring. Perhaps a machined wheel? Or a sort of 'hyperblack' like on the Roush's.
Lowering would look good and necessary, IMO.

I found these on the roushperformance site, do these wheels cost $439 a wheel or $439 for the whole set? doesn't give to much detail.

Check out the new GF line from MRRwheels.
The ground force rims come in 19" as wide as 10.5 and offsets can be made to whatever you like.
I am good friends with the owner so they can make any pattern you want.
Let me know if I can help.

My rims got trashed a month ago, and I was looking at these to replace my black Lorenzo WL28s. I also have a GT/CS and after seeing these on whoever's car that is I really, really like it. I think you should go for it man, but don't be surprised if I end up getting the same ones hahaha I know that XXR usually goes on JDM cars but I love 5 spoke wheels.

I feel ya. White wheels would be a change. But either black, white, or a darker silver.
