GT500 Radiator possible?

GT500 Radiator possible?
I am looking to replace my fan assembly due to it being defective. While I am at it, I was thinking about just going ahead and getting a new radiator, mine has seen better days after 150k miles.
For the life of me I cannot see a difference between a manual transmission radiator and an automatic one. And some state on American Muscle that they are direct replacement for both (universal).
To cut to the chase, I am looking to get a whole assembly from an 07-09 GT500, I do not see any problems with fitment for my automatic v6.
Can anyone confirm?

'Typically'
The auto one will have a built in cooler for the auto trans.
The Universal have the cooler built in but will let you just plug it if it's not needed.
Ones designated as "Manual Only" will not have a cooler in them and instead, use the extra capacity for greater cooling system volume and more efficient cooling for a manual only. they can be adapted for Auto use but then you have to buy an external Auto tranny fluid cooler.

Pretty much what Derf00 said and the GT500 will fit in there no problem since it's the same engine bay.
You could also go with an aftermarket like Griffin that are even of a better construction...
All aluminum.
American Muscle carries an all aluminum radiator as well for your car at an affordable price.

Well here is where I am confused. Our cars already have a separate transmission cooler. And two people on AM confirmed Mishimoto manual only radiator works with the auto tranny (just have to reuse the existing auto tranny cooler).
I am now debating between Mishimoto and UPR (from lethal performance). I wish I could afford the FRPP radiator, what a beast it is.

No difference between the manual and auto other than the mounts for the cooler. Most aftermarket radiators come with the trans cooler mounts. GT500 radiators have a larger diameter return hose, other than that they will physically fit. You can go with a 1" dual core, or a 3 core aftermarket radiator, but the stock radiator is pretty good as is.
