Water Sloshing from Rear Passenger Quarter Panel
Anyone else have water in their quarter panels? This is a coupe. I posted this on another smaller mustang forum. Wanted to get your guys thoughts
I took off some of the body panels in my car. I noticed some water behind the seat belt grommet.
I unbolted the seat belt mechanism:
Inside, what is that? Water?:
Yep that's nasty gray water in between my inner and outer body panels:
So is this covered under warranty or what? I still have my bumper to bumper. Anyone know where the grommets are to drain this bad boy? I felt around but couldn't find any grommets.

Be sure to work with your CSM until this is resolved. PM me if you have any questions.

I wonder if it is originating from the trunk?!? Check under your spare tire as well. I am an OCD car washer and notice that the recess where the trunk bump stops meet the trunkplastic are always covered with soap suds and water that then flows down into the spare tire cavity EVERY time I was the car (automatic touchless car wash). I soak it up with a towel all the time. I have tried adjusting the height of the bump stops in both directions but have come up ith a loss for a resolution. I am in somewhat of a conundrum with my car as far as getting it looked at and fixed under warranty becasue although my service department is head and shoulders the best I have EVER dealt with (very mod friendly as well), their body shop where it would no doubt wind up, couldn't paint a matchbox car IMO. I had my car back in the bodyshop at least 5x to repair a minor bumper hole/dent/scratch because of being able to see the rough unsanded body filler through the paint, then mutliple runs in the fix for that, then rediculous orange peel in that fix.
