I'd call american muscle to find out. I know when I first installed my afraid brenspeed suggested I leave the insert in so I never really thought about it

It really doesn't matter once you're over the 90-95mm realm. You can't force more air in then the internals can digest. I think you'd be fine running a tune for a 90 or 95. Worst that would happen is you'd run a tad lean. And those tunes are likely the canned Diablo tunes so the difference won't be significant anyway.

You could possibly throw a cell for running lean but I kind of doubt it since the engine will only pass as much volume as it can ingest and expel. The 100mm shouldn't pass any more than the smaller CAI's due to the limitation of the stock engine so I'd be comfortable with the tune for a 90 or 95. Like I said, worst case would be a cell for running lean in which case you return to the previous state of the intake. No harm providing you don't run lean for any extended period of time.

And, yeah, those MT's are pure sex. I love sidewall and always will.

My JLT Carbon fiber CAI is 110mm. They suggested the larger CAI in case you ever put mods like cams and Long tubes on.
