Default Carbon fiber vinyl wrap for dash/interior....

So I was wanting to do my dash in carbon fiber wrap....saw a few pics online and thought it looked really good. Anyone else on here do this? I ordered the dash kit from AM but quite frankly it sucked. Anyway were's a good place to order vinyl and how much of it do you think I would need?

Interested in this also. My California Special has the cf look on the dash area and I was wondering if it would look decent carrying that over to the console. Not sure I want to do the entire interior though.

What was wrong with the AM kit - I looked at that one but I read that some had fitment issues?

I did this, so have a few other guys here. Doesn't include the piece that is you air bag cover, but I got that from another supplier and off hand I can't remember who. Very good fit if you take your time, I would do it again, much better than the POS kit I put in my F250.

Check with a tinting place. Most of them can do jobs like this and have access to many vinyl offerings. The only thing to be wary of is that the CF vinyl tends to be quite pricey. The good thing is, most of your interior parts can be removed w/o affecting driveability while they are being done.

I wrapped my radio bezel and a few other parts with 3M vinyl wrap off amizon and the stuff works great. You just really have to take your time.

okie dokie I ordered the 3m di noc carbon fiber from amazon.....(ordered to ofem)
http://www.amazon.com/Gloss-3M-DI-NOC-Carbon-CA-1170/dp/B005HWW6LW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389653659&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+dinoc+carbon+fiber+vinyl http://www.amazon.com/Gloss-3M-DI-NOC-Carbon-CA-1170/dp/B005HWW6LW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389653659&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+dinoc+carbon+fiber+vinyl

Also ordered the 3m adhesive promotor 94. (which is what was what appeared to be the right one by my google search and is also supposed to really make it stay and not peel/bubble)

Soooooo anything else im missing? Never really messed with vinyl before I only saw a few pictures on the internet and thought it looked really really good.....

(not my car just figured i'd post a picture for those curious)

I plan on doing the whole dash plus center console and maybe ill do the window switches if I have enough left over.

I like that a lot. I just don't know if I have the patience to do it myself where it would turn out that nice. Maybe it's the picture but the thing I really like about it is it doesn't have that overly glossy look that some have. And it's not over done.

you will need patience and a heat gun to help you around the curves. not rocket science, just take your time.
also make sure you cut a slit so that the passenger airbag can properly deploy.
