Default noises coming from the back of car

my 08 v6 ever since I bought it has had noises coming from the back of the car when I go over bumps, potholes, etc. it sounds like the whole car is gonna fall apart. or possibly bolts are loose and something is rattling.

car started out stock, and with the problems I keep replacing and upgrading pieces but still no change.

changed the upper and lower to upr products pieces
changed the panhard bar and brace to upr pieces
changed the springs to s&r lowering pieces

and even with all the changes, there is no change in the rattling of what seems the car falling apart.

could the shocks be bad? that's about the only thing left I haven't changed out.

here's a dumb question, but have you checked in the trunk to make sure that the spare and jack are tightened and that there are no loose tools/objects in that hole on the passenger side of the trunk?

I've misplaced wrenches in that awesome hiding spot before and it took me a while to figure out where the noise was coming from.

+1

I've also seen loose sway bars or loose exhaust brackets do this.

Clean out your trunk and jack your car up, put it on jack stands, and shake the **** out of it. It can help to have a friend shake it while you look under the car (but don't BE under the car, just crouch). Also, a rubber mallet can help too.

I had a really weird noise coming from my 12...sounded like metal on metal clinking/squeeking noise when ever i went over pot holes etc. Though it was my exhaust but ended up bing my bushing in my rear sway bar Just used a air chisal and smashed the bushing a little....fixed it.

Sometimes the clamps for the exhaust components loosen and things smack the chassis or whatever. It could also be a bad strut. Keep looking.

You need to check and make sure that everything is properly lubricated with synthetic grease, and that all of the bolts are tight. As mentioned, swaybars can be really noisy!

Jack it up (if you can) look underneath very carefully. Make sure no shields are loose or anything like that
