Default 2010 GT Convert Prem Speaker Upgrade Video

So I had a blown drivers door speaker. I googled everything and anything on speaker replacements and different brands and models.

I ended up finding some Kenwood 6X8's for $49.99 plus tax.

I decided to do a detailed video for anyone who hasn't done this upgrade.

Wow what a difference. It is amazing how cheap and crappy the factory speakers are.

Enjoy!!!

Its amazing how much easier it is to work inside a mustang convertible vs the coupe I've replaced a lot of speakers. I usually go with Focals myself but anything is pretty much better than the stockers.

Interesting, so that lower speaker ring on the door just covers the bass port? No speaker down there?

No there is a dual voice coil 8 inch subwoofer down there. But it's mounted directly to the door panel.
