Time to buy a new GT
I have been looking at a certain Gt near me that the seller wants 23k for (2012 with 22k miles, premium GT no nav) Price is good, but I'm wondering if I should wait to spring to buy it. I got my 03 GT in the winter because of good prices, but I'm thinking maybe in the spring price will be even better due to the 2015s imminent release and possibly more GT's for sale??

You could offer him slightly lower price if you want to try that and see what happens, but i wouldnt wait if its the exact color, transmission and configuration you are looking for.
what do you think about the 2015? It likely will have better performance , hids , IRS etc

Yea, I'm thinking of going in with a 20k offer. It's a small dealer so I don't think they will sell for 20, but who knows.
As far as the 2015 I might be one of few that really does NOT like the new styling at all. It's so plain, like a BMW or some European car.

Anytime a new generation comes out it typically does affect prices of existing cars because suddenly there's more on the market. It's a gamble, will the increase of more available out way the prices you typically find in the winter for these type of cars, is the question and is the gamble.
I'm like you, I always try to buy in Jan or Feb. I just picked up my 13 V6 Premium, with zero owners, and 2200 miles for 20K.
I personally think 23 for that GT is a good price, depending on the package of course.

I would say go in.
Test the waters see how the rep is and how the managers react with you checking out the car.
Then go ahead and tell them you will offer them 18k
and then negotiate with them you will get it for 20k out the door.
I have done it myself and it works but if you offer them 20k upfront you will end of buying it for more then that.
