got a 14 ride is actually alot nicer then i expected. Comparing it to my older 92 M3. I feel its alittle smoother but the turning was tighter on the M3.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

There is a brand new 2013 Boss available for purchase. Does it differ much from the GT in terms of ride quality?

Actually the M3 tires are not runflat.

And I will probably go for 18" wheels on the GT, that will provide a better ride, right?
I have a 2014 Track Pack so 255/40/19. Rides well even with my Koni Yellow and Steeda Boss 302 springs.

Ride quality is pretty subjective. If you are really concerned, I'd try renting one of the Hertz GT's for a day or two to get a good feel for what it will be like on your roads.

The Boss will have a more aggressive ride quality than the GT, it'll likely be more along the lines of a M3.

My 2011 GT with Track Pack was very comfortable, more so than my buddies 2012 M3 coupe with 18" wheels. With 18" wheels on the Mustang it would be even more comfortable.

That said, if you lower your Mustang you can forget about it, the ride quality in the M3 will be better.

SRT4 = Feel everything on the road. But still handles like its on rails. Don't notice the road feedback...too busy smiling from the sound of the exhaust rumble and the loud "PSSSSSST" of the Blow off.

Mustang GT = Feel everything on the road. But still handles like a RWD Muscle car. Don't notice the road feedback...too busy smiling from the sound of the Off road exhaust rumble and enjoying massive torque response.

M3 = Feel everything on the road. But still handles like its on rails. Don't notice the road feedback...because the interior is so sound dampened I can only hear my radio. Need a loud station to keep me from falling asleep at the wheel.

I donīt know if it helps in terms of comparison, but... I just test drove a 2009 Porsche Carrera 4S and felt it rides way smoother than the M3.

The fact of the matter is you could buy a Mustang and make it handle BETTER than an M3 for a fraction of what the bimmer costs. I know the popular belief is that the Boss is faster, but really a boss is slow compared to a lot of our cars on here. Besides, you don't want to have to work on or order parts for a BMW.

in stock condition i considered the ride way too floaty and sloppy, felt more like a cadillac than a sports car
