I would imagine that the dealer knowing that the car is new enough and has the mileage to still be under the warranty period of Ford, they off no additional warranty. Usually it would be 30. 60 or 90 depending on the mileage. You still have 26,000 and a couple years left on the factory warranty. It will require getting friendly with a Ford dealer.
