Default Adding OEM leather take off, any one done it?

I've seen leather OEM seat take offs on ebay for less than $400. Considering it, but not sure how difficult it would be to take the cloth off and replace with the leather. Has anyone on here done this?

well, i know from watching guys put Katzkin leather on MANY cars, you'll need to pull all the seats, and you shouldnt have to cut or sew anything really. research what it takes to install katzkin leather in your mustang, and it should be the exact same but the leather take offs should already be fitted. GL!

Is it hard? No. It is a mega pain in the ***. Time consuming and your fingers will be sore.
I did it twice in my '05. Put in '05-'09 leather from cloth, then did '11 leather. Completely worth it, but be careful taking off the plastic trim on the seats. I broke mine and couldn't get them back on.

Small note, you can use zip ties instead of hog rings to attach the leather to the rods in the seats.

hmmm this may be soemthing I want to undertake.. It seems the foam on the back of my seat slipped off the metal frame, not sure if its broken or just slipped off, but sometimes the metal bar there digs into my back, especially on long trips... any ideas (not trying to hijack!)

I did it on my 13 V6. Its not too bad. Took me about 3 hours by myself. Like the previous poster said, be careful with the plastic pieces they break pretty easy. I'd also pick up some plastic trim removal tools. You can get them at harbor freight for cheap.
