just wanted to know if anyone has every try adding more ambient lights on your mustang. i have the stock ones and that change color but they don't standout that much. i wanted to add more light and somehow connect it all to the existing factory wiring. so basically i'm looking for a bulb or LEDs that change color just like my stock one so i can connect it all over my floor. i hope i'm making any sense here.

Not sure if you already have, but check american muscle. I believe I've seen something in the past with interior lighting...

I did a write up if you search diode dynamics install. I'd imagine you could tap into your existing wiring with this kit

Order a POD light for rgb led's off eBay. They have all the colors, will work with the factory system, but does not come with a plug. You have to add them into the harness but it is done very easily. I did it and love it. It is hooked into the controller wiring and I have them under the dash, since I didn't have factory ambient to start with. I added the console and extra bulbs and wiring from an Edge to give me more.

Like these or similar. Mine were a bit different, without the second wiring line, but this is an example.

THANK YOu GUYS! my question is with these light can i use my factory button that is located on my cup holder to change the colors? so that way my factory ambient light should sync with these after market LED. or do i really need to get a separate controller with these?

U should be able to splice into your switch.

I would contact the people at American Muscle. They would know if you could do it.

The answer is yes. They can be incorporated into the harness. They have 4 colored wires, exactly as the Ford ambient lights do, so splicing into or adding is very simple. Some led's work strange with the Ford systems, (backwards, if you know what I'm saying), but the pod's will work perfectly. With the factory ambient light switch. Just hook into the harness after the controller plug. It is better there. Good luck.

ok i found this on ebay but this one said only 3 colors red,green and blue. i cant seem to find the pod that switch to 7 colors.
