Default whiteline trans mount insert

Since day 1 my car has had some occasional grinding into 5th gear. As long as I am very careful with my 5th gear shifts i can usually avoid the grind. Has anyone installed the whiteline transmission mount insert and had it fix this problem. From what I have read the 4th to 5th gear grind is a pretty common problem. My car is a 2012 gt with the 6 speed manual getrag.

Thanks!

While I can't speak to the 5-6 grind (never experienced it) it did absolutely nothing for my 1-2 nibble. However it did "stiffen" the shift feeling tremendously. Especially shifting while turning.

How bad is the increase in nvh, is it tolerable for everyday driving?

It is tollerable...I only hear (not feel) it if I'm at a stop light with the clutch pedal released. When I first installed the NVH was too much for me. I cut the middle section out and basiclly all I have in are the two side pieces. I would say it kept 85-90% of the benefit of the bushing and added 5-10% NVH. I honestly don't hear it much anymore unless the radio is low.
