Default Quality Issues/Concerns with my 14 V6 Convertible

Hello everyone.......
My 2014 Mustang V6 3.7L (Automatic) Convertible now has 8,700 miles on it and I bought it NEW in July 2013......actually special ordered it.

Some issues have popped up recently that are making me lose my feeling of excitement owning this car. I will list them here and welcome any feedback.

1. Serpentine Belt (I assume) squeals when car starts up.....usually happens if A/C is left on when car is turned off......and restarted at a later time. Belt squeal will happen for several seconds or minutes then go away.

2. Very annoying squeak/clunk/eek noise coming from the FRONT suspension. Pulling into driveway, going over speedbump (SLOWLY), or even turning the steering wheel left-right on FLAT pavement will cause this sound (although its very mild if not driving)

3. Miss/Stumble while sitting at Stop Sign or Traffic Light. You can see and feel the car shake/shimy a bit and RPMs drop and regain itself if sitting too long. Seems to be getting worse.

4. CLUNK when putting the Mustang into DRIVE or REVERSE if I am at any sort of incline......sounds like the U Joint or Driveshaft its getting hammered.

5. RIGHT SIDE (Passenger Door) window switch cover plate is starting to PEEL. Not sure what is peeling off, but it looks like crap now. I didn't get any chemicals on it....and rarely have a passenger....so not sure why its peeling. Looks like the clear coat or plastic coating over that piece is peeling.

6. Sirius Sat Radio loses signal quite a bit. Never had any SAT radio in the past do this.....so not sure if its an issue here or not? Out in an open parking lot it will play.......cut out for a few seconds.......then play. Does this a few times while car is on.

7. Brake FADE. I am getting the pulsating feeling in the brake pedal already.....my Mustang has 8,700 miles on it.....and I use it mainly for commuting. No hard driving.....but my rotors feel warpped already.

So.....as you can see, I have had the car for less than 12 months and a long list of issues and would like some feedback from other owners here. I have a scheduled appt at the Dealership at 10,000 miles to address all of this.

Thanks

Time to go to the dealer and demonstrate all the problems. Do not leave the car without having them observe the issues and acknowledge that they exist.

If they tell you it is a normal condition ask them to show you the issue on another car.

As far as #3, you would want to first check with the company that did the tune, they changed the operating parameters not Ford. On the same #3 do you always make sure you have at least 91 octane purchased from a top tier company?
Some belt dressing, and checking to make sure the tension is correct should take care of belt squeal.
Good luck

I have always run 91 Octane gas (highest I can get in Nevada) and even before the tune.....it had the misfire/stumble issue with RPMs at standstill. I was hoping the TUNE would fix that issue.....but it had no affect on it.

I have switched gas companies a few times.....no difference.

BTW....I am NOT overly impressed with the TUNE from BAMA Tunes. Its "ok" but for $400 I guess I was hoping for more. The Mustang has a terrible mid-range power / throttle response issue.............with or without the tune.

Oh, well. Lets see what the dealer says.

Quality and Ford in the same sentence??? Go look at the # of TSB's associated with the 05 thru 09's...

Further on #3. Is this with the a/c on, a/c off, or does it do it in both cases? No matter what your response, I don't have an answer for you; I'm just trying to help you narrow it down. Good luck.

That really sucks to have that many issues in such a short period of time.
