Default Newbie: question about 2005 GT Coupe

Hi
Car info:
Ford Mustang GT 2005
Automatic
only 37 282 miles
All original.

* i have a problem with the throttle or potentiometer when you touch the gaspedal it revs up to 1500rpm then it wants to take a litte jump.. Do you think it is the throttle or the gaspedal/potentiometer?

* Is there any good program to use to the munstangs ECU as an APP ??

* In a certain speed there is a howling nocie, someone said it is the converter, nothing wrong.. that for me sounds strange.. ??

best regards
Fredrik

The gas pedal sensor tends to get dirt in some of them and can get messed up. But make sure that is the problem and the throttle body is not sticking.

There are plenty of decent apps/programs to use to monitor the PCM.

The howling is usually the rear end pinion bearing, or a tire.

Dirty throttle body s and mass air flow sensors cause all sorts of idle issues. If start with those two things! Whining could be a rear end as said above, hard to say you wernt very specific ..
