purchasing 2010 gt500 or gt premium w/ roush s/c
im looking to purchase a mustang, currently i have two in mind their is a 2010 gt500 fully loaded with 30k miles or a fully loaded 2014 gt (3 miles) with an option of a roush s/c any phase both priced under 35k not including roush s/c
what would be the most reliable vehicle to purchase? - vehicle would be daily driver - track at least twice a month - s/c would be installed by ford dealer for warranty purposes - gt500 fully inspected by certified technician, no problems visible Thanks! Daniel:icon_patriot: |
GT500 all day IMHO

2014. It's a personal preference thing, I just like they way they look more. You really can't go wrong with either.
|
Both hit all the marks on your list, but the GT500 is a Shelby. As in, everyone and their mother may have a Mustang GT, but in a single YEAR I can count with one hand how many Shelby's I see on the streets. The GT500 is a legend man. Go with the legend.

Shelby! the GT will be worth $5,000 less right after you drive it off the lot. The gt500 has all ready depreciated and it will hold it value much better. It has a much stronger motor
|
GT500 all day long, make it a 2011 GT w/ Roush blower v.s. 2010 GT500 and it's slightly closer, but still GT500.
|
For me that's a tough call. Is the price around the same? I would go with the 14.. I'll bet it's faster even (with the roush charger) And brand new with only 3k miles.
|
I doubt the 5.0 S/C Coyote is faster than the 5.4 S/C GT500... IMHO... Though 2010 is a better looking body in my opinion, but I'm jaded, I've got an 08 ;)
|
The coyote 5.0 w/ blower would kill a 2010 GT500, we're talking what a 540hp GT500 v.s. a Coyote that will easily be north of 600hp.
I change my vote. I thought the OP meant 2010 GT w/ blower v.s. 2010 GT500 |
However saying what I said.. I'd take a 13-14 GT 500 over everything..
