Default Mustang itch getting bad

I traded in my loaded 2006 GT Premium back in October on a 2014 Focus SE. It was a real kick to the *****, but I needed something more reliable in winter weather and didn't want to get an SUV or truck, or have a car payment again. Got a nice new job last year, so being prompt was a bit more important now. Great mpgs and 4 doors is a bonus, but I really miss owning a Mustang and being able to tinker if I want.

That being said, the Mustang bug has got me lately, and I can't help but look on Ford.com at these beaut 14s! Built a manual coupe GT in DIB with Track Pack and the MSRP is 33,030. Built a manual coupe GT Premium in DIB with Track Pack and the MSRP is 37,130. Beside SYNC (don't care for), leather seats, dash trim, and shaker 500, are there any other differences for this 4,100 jump? Because I'm leaning towards the regular GT at this moment

I think on the track pack the big jump in price is due to the Recaro seats and big brakes. Pretty sure that makes up most of the cost (If I'm remembering correctly- I think the track pack comes with the Brembos?)

The 3 main upgrades with the Track Pack seems to be the Brembo brakes, Premium 19" wheels (to clear the big brakes most likely), and the 3.73 Torsen LSD. Also a 302Boss radiator and some other small items. Definitely worth the additional 2,495 in my eyes.

Recaro seats are not a component of the Track Pack

Hell, sorry, I misread your post. I thought you were saying something about the price jump with the track pack, now I see you're asking about the price jump between the deluxe and premium GT.

Looks to me like what you listed is about it as far as what comes standard. According to Ford's website the only things you get standard over the base GT are bright dash trim, bright pedals, power seats, leather, leather wrapped steering wheel, shaker audio, sync, and a universal garage door opener.

All stuff I could likely do without for $4,100!
Or buy from someone else who upgraded their stuff and have laying around

Now, I need to find 33 grand LOL

The Fusions are great cars - but they certainly are not a Mustang!

IMHO I would not want the base GT - I'm a bit spoiled by some of the upgraded features. The key is - what you can afford and what matters to you.
