So I went through the ordeal of filling in the holes on my hood from the hood scoop. It went fine but I can still see rings where the filler shrunk and it bothers me. Rather than go through an ordeal of re-sanding, filling, blocking, and repainting (and with some dumb luck) I decided to get myself a carbon fiber hood. Why? Because apparently 5-6 years ago my smart *** decided to open a savings account and put $20 a week in it. Well I forgot about it until today when someone in the acct dept at work reminded me about it. So I have $5800 sitting there for me to just play with basically. I was going to get myself a KB 2.6HO... BUT... I decided to be smart and I am going with the hood replacement, a new clutch, and a set of 4.10's and possible a 1-piece DS to beef up the drivetrain for the incoming power within the next few years.

That being said I am open for suggestions on your favorite or most cost effective brands/products. I really like the TruCarbon A45 Hood. I'm not opposed to fiberglass either, I'd just rather carbon fiber to shave weight over the fiber. I REALLY like the Cobra R hood from AM.

EDIT: Also, I need to fix my drivers seat. The motors to go up/down and tilt the bottom forward and back have gone out. They make a noise but don't move. The motor to move the whole seat forward and back works though.
