Default Andys Auto Sports & Carbon Creations

Anyone bought products from andys auto sports or carbon creations? I was looking and they have an OEM style carbon fiber hood for $479 right now. Manufactured by Carbon Creations and sold by Andys Auto Sports. Anyone had dealings with either?

Ended up purchasing this through CARID. They were the only ones who had it in stock and a quick google of AAS revealed a laundry list of terrible service. Ordered today and I got an estimated ship date of the 8th.

Almost a month later now...

Hood arrived today... Damaged... So it got refused and sent back. Contacted CarID and they should be sending a new one soon.

New hood arrived, undamaged. Got to work installing it and... It fits like a wet turd in a sock. Not very happy right now. Obviously carbon creations gets my seal of non approval. Fiberglass bottom, carbon fiber top, bad fit, the weave has defects where it was stretched, etc. Clearly a company that doesn't value quality. I guess you get what you pay for.

Hoping I can install some hood pins and basically pull the hood down in the corners to line up with the fenders.

post some pictures when you get those hood pins installed. I'm curious if it will help keep the hood flush with the fenders.
