I have a spare tire and the center bolt has punctured the "floor" and the carpet as it was missing the plastic cap. I have been investigating ways to resolve it to my satisfaction but as of yet have not found anything I'm happy with short of cutting 1/4 plywood to fit - but I didn't want that extra weight.

Oh well..

I think I'm going to just take it out, and have the the entire trunk lined with carpet. It'll only be like $100, it will give me more space since I never put anything in the wheel well anyway... Awesome forum. I'm really surprised that no one else is having the issue. I guess the Brembo package wasn't that common after all, nor was it common to take that useless air pump out like I did.

Haha... I only have the Premium package on my car, so mine came with that fugly spare tire, but I went ahead and bought an airpump to keep in the car... i don't think they're that useless... haha... to each their own. The idea of carpeting the entire trunk sounds intriguing, so I hope you post up a new thread when you do... I'm interested in seeing how it looks.

Air pumps are great, but the cheap one that came with mine leaves a bit to be desired. hahaha. Realistically, this car is noisily a garage queen until as of late, so maybe I will throw the autocross pump in the trunk with a plug kit. After I carpet the whole thing. I mean, even with the pump in there, didn't take up nearly the ***** spare tire area.

In '08 the Mustang Bullitt offered an inflation kit instead of a spare. They also made this kit standard or optional (can't remember) from 2010 or 2011 on depending on how the car was configured from the factory.

Oh my god that message was horrible. It was originally "***** f*** tire area." at the end from a misswype, so at least I fixed that last part, lol.
