sorry im new to the forum.i dont mean to start another exhaust thread but i cant find anything to answer my question so far.......i currently have borla stinger axlebacks on my 07 GT rest of exaust is stock and i tend to meep it that way for ahwile.i was wondering if anyone knew if i will get any sound difference between the borlas and the mac boomtubes.ive beeen looking into slp loud mouths pype bombs and macboomtubes..i really like the slp but if the boom tubes produce the same noise as slps why spend the extra money....if anyone has heard if the boomtubes are louder then the stingers please let me know i dont want to buy them if theres no increase in sound thankyou and sorry again.

I have Stingers on my '07 also. If you DO change yours, let me know what you think of the difference. I might consider a change although I do love the Stingers.

I would say boomtubes and loud mouths would be slightly louder but you probably won't be able to hear any discernible difference. They're both straight through, the resonated tips just have less packing than the mufflers.

IMO borla has the best tone. If you want more volume get a offload H pipe. No way I would down grade to boom tubes.

Went ahead and got the boomtubes and put them on today..my first impression is wow.there great!! Alot louder at idle then the stingers and surprisingly drone alot less then the stingers...they sound great inside the car but going to let my gf drive it around the block a couple of times tommorow to see how good they sound outside and see how much louder they really are
