Default New to the forum..have some questions! 14 5.0

I have a 2014 5.0 and basically I want to start doing engine upgrades, what should I do? I am trying to make as much power as possible without doing a supercharger (that will be down the road a little). I already have an exhaust and intake currently. Thank you!

Welcome!
Do you have a tune? Check out americanmuscle.com they have videos on what to do first and they are extremley helpful! 90% of my stuff comes from them and I've never had a problem.

If you don't have a tune, get one, it will be a whole other beast!
my wants are, Kooks Long tube headers with a shorty X pipe.

with the added power your going to want some suspension mods to keep the wheels on the ground. I highly recommend rear upper and lower control arms 100% they will greatly reduce the wheel hop.

Also, what differential do you have? if its the 3:31 then id recommend gears, 3:73 or higher.

they also make upgraded intake manifolds. they have the Boss 302 manifold or a Cobra Jet.
The cobra jet is more expensive and you'll need a larger throttle body. I've heard mixed reviews about both manifolds, it just depends what you want to do with the car.

as far a supercharge, what were you thinking? centrifugal or twin screw? If your going centrifugal then you will be able to run a supercharger with an upgraded intake manifold.

Most mods require a tune but if you get a tuner though american muscle then you'll get free tunes for life, just email them with your new mod list and they will send you the tune.

Let us know if you have any questions, this forum is a great community, we all here to help!

Car looks sick by the way!

Save your money until you get the supercharger. That will give you the most bang for your buck.
