Hi All,

When I got in my 2013 Mustang GT this afternoon after work I quickly noticed that the small screen in the instrument cluster was blank except for white pixels where the normal content would be, including the odometer. I tried power cycling it a few times with no effect. The car runs fine otherwise and all of the electronic functions seem to be working fine. The speedometer/tach are working also.

I called the dealership I bought the car from (new back on 2013) and they said they had never seen such a thing on a mustang. They said I can bring it by on Monday but I can't imagine what could be wrong with it from merely sitting in a parking lot for a few hours.

Any ideas?

Disconnected the battery, waited about 30 minutes, reconnected: fixed. I'll leave this here in case anyone has a similar issue.

My BOSS has done this to me on very hot days maybe 3 times in 2 years. After letting it sit a bit, it comes back to normal. Wasn't worth going to dealership for me because the less they touch my car, the better.
