Default How to condition faux leather seats

Good morning guys

So my car has the faux black leather seats (non recaro), and my guess is the previous owner never conditioned the seats at all. When I bought it three months ago, conditioning them was one of the first things i did. My question is, how often should I condition my seats? Every three months? Every six? My newedge had cloth seats, so I'm new to the whole leather game.

Thanks

Partially depends during the time of year, I say 3 month intervals during "texas summer" and 6 months during winter. So 3 times a year.

That sounds very reasonable. I'm just use normal leather care product from o'reilys, hopefully this is adequate.

TRUST ME. It smells 10x better than anything else and works amazing. I've tried all the major brands.

Buy voodoo. As soon as you do, you will be back here to tell me. I know it.

Looks interesting but my local Wall-Mart doesn't carry it. They have other major brands. I guess I could order it online and have it shipped to my local Wal-Mart.

I use the Leather Care from www.griotsgarage.com. It has a nice aroma. It is also available at some Auto Zone stores. Griot's also makes some other leather care products, but I have not tried them. If the seats need a good cleaning, Griot's has an Interior Cleaner. As with all such products, test on an inconspicuous area before you apply it all over the seats.

I got to say that Voodoo leather conditioner from Surf City Garage is excellent. Its creamy, smells amazing (kinda like a new car), and works. I apply it kinda like a wax. I apply it everywhere, flip the cloth then buff it in. Works and isnt expensive
