Default 12v source under hood, need help with headlight wiring

So I want to put Oracle halos in my headlights but I am having a hard time finding a 12v source under the hood. I have a 2014 GT/CS.
I wanted the halos on with my running side bar lamps.
Like this picture

So I unplugged one of my headlights, turned the running lamps on, and tried to find the source of power coming from the headlight harness to tap into for the halos.
I tried every combination and for some reason I can't find power from this harness. The other side was on and when I put it back together, the headlight worked fine...

ok, find the connectors that look like ths at each headlamp assembly, they are for the park lamps, the center pin is pin 2 ( violet and white stripe) that is the power for the park lamps and will be 12v when on splice into those and you should be ok

You may have to use the paper clip trick. It's possible that the PCM can sense that the harness is unplugged and stops sending it power to protect the ballasts, etc. Maybe, IDK.

But, plug the harness, grab a test light, voltmeter or something of the sort. Ground it on the negative battery cable. Take a paper clip and shove it back of the harness leads one at a time until you find the signal you are looking for.

disregard my earlier post,, i see you have factory hid, the previous post was for non hid, you will need to splice into the following wires for the halos to turn on with your running lamps, left side pin 5 (violet and white stripe) right side pin5 (violet with white stripe)

you are correct, there is an overload protection built into many of the lighting circuits, but open circuiting them will not result in loss of operation, only overloading them. sometimes this will set a code and the light circuit will stop working till the code is cleared

Thanks! I've looked everywhere for this diagram, could not find anything.
So I should black/grey with pin14 and violet/white with pin 5?
Any idea if this source is actually a 12v?

Actually, looking at the picture I took, these pins do not line up.
My violet/white is in 4 and and black/grey is in 1.
