Clunking when shifting gears on 06' 3V...
Hey all, I bought my new (used) 06 GT a few weeks ago. I am hearing the throw out bearing a little bit sometimes when the clutch is depressed sitting still. But the bigger thing that worries me is when I shift gears I hear a "clunk" sound when depressing the cluth from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd.
Not so much from the 3rd to 4th, and 4th to 5th shift. Is that normal with these Tremec trannies? It goes into gear fine, so I know its not the syncro's, and the transmission doesn't seem bad. Its just the clutch seems...noisy?
Is that normal? Or Is that bad?

I am no mechanic. But I do have an 06 GT and I do not hear any noises at all when depressing the clutch in any gear (my car is all stock). This is a shot in the dark but does it have an aftermarket clutch? Might be to much for the stock Throw out bearing/slave cylinder.

Not that I know of...but now that I think about it..it does seem much harder to press in than I believe a stock clutch should. So maybe. It did have a decent amount of bolt-ons when I bought the vehicle. So who knows what is done to it.
