Default tail lights problem

Hello Guys this is my first post.
I searched and could not find anything similar to my problem.
any help would be great.

I have a 2005 V6.

my problem is with the sequential tail lights.
I had 2 bulbs burn out, 1 on each side.
I replaced all the bulbs while I had the tail lights off.

Now only the the inside light will work on both sides, the other 2 bulbs on each side do not work.

any ideas?

#1 make sure you have the correct # bulb in all three

#2 the 2005-2009 didn't come from the factory with sequential turn signals, so maybe something went wrong with the kit that was installed.
