I NEED PICTURES!!! PICTURES OF WHITEFACE GAUGES!!
So I'm considering changing my stock MyColor Gauges to white faced, but I'm concerned about real-world visibility, specifically in direct mid-day sunlight and twilight conditions
So if you have pictures, post em up

I swapped to white face gauges in my2006, they were an overlay on the existing panel, no need to remove the needles to install:
They were much easier to read in the daylight with the top down. But on this overlay I ended up changing one side so only the upper half was covered. Couldn't get the overlay to line up properly with the "idiot lights" on the left so I could see them; opened it back up and reinstalled that side.

I think I will eventually. I snagged a set from American Muscle (for like $12)
Ok one more question:
Since the gauges light up white when you turn the car on but not the lights, do you have to turn down the rheostat to avoid a white on white situation?

I've had white face gauges in several cars. I love the look, but they have all suffered from a low light problem, like dusk or dawn. In these situations, they look washed out and are not easy to see. .
My present car, a 2006 GT 'vert with My Color option I put in a set of stainless steel face gauges. Good look and has less of the low light problem.
