As far as the alarm...

Did you think to make it ding... then follow the dinging until you find it... then try unplugging it?

You obviously don't know PW very well. He was just being funny. Lighten up. I thought it was a very clever remark.

Stupid not to wear a belt... IMO, stupid to wear a belt especially now that air bags are standard...

All I know is what I lived through, FIRE throughout the car and I cant get to the seatbelt release and when I did it was jammed... I almost burned to death...

Stupid is as stupid does, I WILL NEVER WEAR A BELT AGAIN...

My money, my car and my life.

Heh PW... That guy is freakin' brilliant.

I wear my seatbelt everywhere, becaues it's the law, it was designed for my safty, i'll be damed if i can't slip out of it or cut my way out w/my leatherman if I get stuck
I had a Ninja 750 and the helmet saved my life.

I don't like that chiming sound, especally when you are in a parking lot and you don't have your seatbelt on and it decides to remind you again EVERY 30 FRIGGIN' SECONDS... ARG!!! when you find this devil, tell me I'M GUNNA RIP IT OUT!%!# [:@]

Tell you what- you take out a huge personal injury insurance policy for injuries incurred in an auto accident and then yes, we think you should be able to not wear your seatbelt. Unfortunately, in reality, people who don't wear their seatbelts (or motorcycle helmets) and then get injured cost US, the taxpayers, millions!
Racecar and superspeed motorcycle drivers wear both. If you get hit and you're NOT, then the idiot who hits you and sends you to the ER can get off much easier!

I were my seatbelt all the time but there is a way to turn off the chime..I did it to mine..the owners manuel tells you how to turn it off for one time or for good...you have to do the driver and passenger seat seperate...its something like this....turn the key on and wait for seatbelt light to go out..you then clip seatbelt 9 times and release...the light blinks at you and you clip the seat belt again....i did it for both my seats....I still recommend wearing your belt....

The dinging is annoying.
Laws do NOT belong INSIDE our cars, nor our homes.
You cannot sue the **** out of anyone who runs into you if you do not wear your seatbelt.
I would like to turn it off too, because I have a brain that tells me to wear my seatbelt.
My brain is better than a ding.
I own the car, I should decide when it dings and when it does not ding.
