Horrible noise and the search for an actuator/condenser.
Heya.
My 2008 V6 Mustang has been running fine for years, but unfortunately in March something went goofy and my dash has been emitting this AWFUL clicking sound every time I turn on the A/C.
So I did some searching and I found out "oh, this is my actuator." I get online, order up the part I need, and then when I finally uninstall the other one and try to slide the new bad boy in... well... it doesn't fit.
(Before I get too deep I'd like to note that it makes this sound both with and without the actuator installed / attached. I've heard similar noises on YouTube videos. Feel free to stop me here if I'm off or looking at the wrong part)
When I search online for other parts I get told "this is not the part that fits your car," but then it recommends me similar ones that are identical to the one I bought. The easiest way to tell them apart is the crank-shaft arm; the Dorman 604-232 has one, but it's not fitting.
Update: When I search for something akin to the part number I see etched on it I get this result, but I'm also told it doesn't fit: http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Ford-A.../dp/B00GJJ088U
I threw some pics up online too...

Old part: https://i.imgur.com/BgVYjII.jpg
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions. I'm pretty confused by this, and I feel like I'm missing something basic.
Thanks!
