Annoying rattles in cabin - 2014 V6
 

Hey all,

I'm a seriously OCD person when It comes to my car and recently I've noticed these annoying rattles coming from the dash.

The one has been there since I bought it and while I'm not certain of its exact location, if typically comes from the AC vent at the base of the windscreen on the left, it often comes and pea randomly and some days a bumpy road will trigger it, other times it will stay silent.

The second (and most annoying) is a new development. Ford installed a new AC motor into my car last week and since then I've noticed a buzz/rattle (again not regular but more frequent than the other rattle) coming from the passenger side. My wife says it is coming from the air vent but I guess it could be coming from anywhere in there. There's nothing in the glove compartment so know it's something ford have done but fear taking it back In case they make it a whole lot worse. It seems to be triggered by the bumpy roads and freeways of Southern California.

Any suggestions?

i just turn up the radio, unless it sounds like something serious. lol interior noises that only happen some of the time are almost impossible to fix( i do this for a living). since i cant be there to hear your noises, i suggest you take it to the dealer, and have a tech ride along with you so u can show him as its happening, this will help him figure out what u are hearing. good luck
